A coterie of people meeting to socialise and share the craft of poetry. Join us for structured talks and workshops with a feature poet each month, followed by opportunities to socialise with like minded creatives.
This month, we are joined by poet Nicky Kippax. Nicky Kippax is a Word Up North New Northern Poet (2026), a Northern Writers’ Award winner (2022), and her work is widely published – most recently in The London Magazine, Poetry Oxford, PN Review, The Rialto and Poetry News. She is highly commended in The Forward Book of Poetry 2027 for best single poem (written) and has been shortlisted for The Brotherton Prize, The Bridport Prize and The Gingko Prize. She lives in York where she co-hosts poetry evening Rise Up! and is editing her first collection.
Hosted by SPARK Studios’ Becca Drake and Chloe Hanks.
