One of York’s vibrant cultural venues, SPARK, is gearing up to welcome a comedy heavyweight as Sam Campbell – winner of the 2022 Edinburgh Comedy Awards and fan favourite from Channel 4’s Taskmaster – headlines a one-night-only stand-up event on Thursday, 17th July.

The show, hosted in partnership with the University of York’s ComedySoc, features an exciting lineup of student comedians and alumni, all sharing the bill with Campbell’s famously eccentric set. Known for his offbeat genius and quickfire absurdity, Campbell’s appearance at SPARK signals another exciting milestone in the venue’s growing events calendar for 2025.

Tickets are now on sale to the public for £8, with a limited allocation of £6 tickets for York students.
