My Experience at SPARK: Ben Dale

For today’s blog post, we hand over to Year 10 student Ben Dale who is completing work experience across the SPARK team, looking at the Operations and Creative functions of the business.

SPARK* has been undeniably brilliant for me, from the kindness of staff to the delicious food I can’t deny just how great this place is to be. Everyone here has given me great treatment and I will definitely be coming back here and recommending SPARK* to others.

For the week (19th – 23rd May) I’ve been at SPARK* on my work experience, learning about the behind the scenes of the business and how it runs in the background. I won’t lie when I say I was unsure of how the experience would be but being where I am now I have no regrets about choosing SPARK* for my work experience.

I’ve enjoyed my time so far and expect that enjoyment to grow more as I reach the end of my work experience. I expect this won’t be my last time here and I will definitely be returning here sooner rather than later.

The venue itself is likely one of the main reasons for this; from the beautiful murals that canvas the site, enriching smells that cover the air that mix with the sweet scent of flowers and greenery that brings SPARK* to life. The atmosphere has always been joyful and upbeat the whole time I’ve been here which isn’t surprising at all considering just how wonderful the place looks/feels.

If there are any doubts in coming to SPARK* I would clear them and definitely come along. The atmosphere is bright and colourful, food is better than most elitist restaurants and anyone is welcome, bringing all together to enjoy the delightful treat that is the SPARK* facility.
