What is yoga? Depending on who you ask you will receive different answers, though it is important to remember that yoga is not limited to just the practice of asana (poses). In the modern world the internal aspects of yoga have become less important, whilst the physical aspects have become centred. Marjari Yoga is an opportunity to explore the full depth and scope of what this tradition actually is and what it offers.
Marjari Yoga is led by Jess. She trained under Vidya Heisel of Frog Lotus Yoga International, and is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher. Whilst her focus is on Vinyasa yoga, her personal style of teaching is influenced by elements of different styles of Yoga including Iyengar, Yin, Ashtanga and Hatha. Her goal is to empower students and help them to improve their overall happiness and wellness outside of just the physical practice, sharing tools and guidance that can help not just on the mat but also in life more generally. She hopes to aid her students in improving their physical as well as their inner well-being.
