Yorkshire Handmade Pies is about ‘pies made properly’ using the best of Yorkshire’s finest ingredients. Offering true farm to fork eating, YHP sources many of its ingredients direct from farms including native breed beef, herb-fed free-range chicken and local cheeses, vegetables and herbs. Owner James Sturdy is passionate about celebrating the history and traditions of British pie making as well as creating unique pies that reflect and support the glorious rural landscapes in Yorkshire. The Yorkshire Handmade Pies pop up is the result of a collaboration between James Sturdy and York chef Jack Richardson, who has been running El Rayo at SPARK* for a few years.
